Job Overview

The Production & Technical Representative serves an important role, acting as the link between the company’s sales and production team. The Production & Technical Representative is responsible for organizing production of manufactured items from the planning stages to completion. This role requires a well-rounded individual who excels both in the office, in the field and out in the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Track current/future jobs with large contractors
• Create quotes for bids/take-offs for contractors
• Correspond through email and phone regarding technical information with contractors, architects, engineers, etc.
• Conduct various meetings (job status, mechanics, production, etc.)
• Conduct presentations on products and technical information
• Consult with contractors and design professionals on site
• Record meeting minutes for various meetings
• Familiarity with production related tasks (inventory organization and counts, production run inputting, scheduling, etc.)

Required Education

• Associates degree

Basic Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write English fluently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong mathematical skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Comfortable with working indoors and outdoors

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience in the construction or engineering field
